[V2] Porsche LMP1-98

/!\ Note that if you see this car in Assetto Corsa, it was stolen by EX-mods on my Sketchfab in December 2021 (car was not downloadable), they sold it on their patreon illgealIy and I absolutely hate them for that, and for the horrendously bad quality of the mod they made with it, they really respect nothing, those kind people really damage the community

A car with quite a lot of history going for it, both in its motorsport history and the 3D one with me.

The #7 car started his life as a Jaguar XJR-14 chassis #691 in 1991, winning one race and scoring two other podium leading Teo Fabi to win the World Sportscar driver championship and Jaguar the constructor championship
In 1992 it went to race in IMSA in America, it won a race and score an other podium. In that year some other XJR-14 were build and rebraned as Mazda MXR-01 who got a nice 4th at le mans but was outpaced all year byt the Peugeot 905 evo 1 and the Toyota TS010

In 94 chassis #691 was bought by Porsche to create a prototype to race in the 1995 IMSA Championship, they cut the roof and put a Porsche 962 engine in the back but withdrawed the newly named TWR WSC-95 after late rules change affecting turbo car because the IMSA feared a new Porsche domination. Funnily, Porsche might have overreacted because the first race, the 24H of Daytona, was won by a turbo car using a Porsche engine: a Kremer K8

Seeing the potential of the car, Joest Racing bought it and asked Porsche to build a second car.
From now our #691 Jaguar chassis always raced under the #7 and the new Porsche TWR-WSC95 always run with the #8
The #7 won le mans twice in 96 and 97, become the 4th chassis in history to win le mans twice and both time doing so by beating the official Porsche 911 GT1 and GT1 Evo.

Tired of being beaten by their rejected child, Porsche took both car back to them in 1998. Developped a new body, changed the engine to use the same as the newest 911 GT1 engine, it is now the Porsche LMP1-98
This time the car was clearly off the pace and lacked the reliability, the #7 failing to finish le mans for the first time after running 4th for a while. The #8 was lower in the standing before retiring
The #7 got its last outing at Petit le Mans at the end of year, securing a last podium for the Porsche program after the 911 GT1 got sent airborn while following the #7 in the straight.

#7 has been rebuild into its 97 le mans winning spec and sit now in the private Reinhold Joest musuem and can be seen outside time to time
#8 is owned by Porsche and be seen running at event like Goodwood or the Porsche Experience Center at Le Mans
