King Georges V class Mark III turret

This is a quadruple turret, with 356mm/14 inch gun, that was mounted on the King Georges V class Battleship in the World War 2. It was known for its technicall complexity resulting in some reliability faillure, notably when the unfinished HMS Pince of Wales fought the Bismarck, the critical damage done to the german ship was one of the 3 major actions of this class in the war, the second was the HMS King Georges V participating to sink the Bismarck with the HMS Rodney, the last in Battle of North Cap when the Dukes of York sunk the Scharnhorst two years later.

Was quite hard to find pictures of only one the ship class, so the result is quite a matchup between all 5 battleship A and C turret (the C had DCA gun on it and some barrier). The color, while it was in camouflage or in beige on the few color pic I found, I chose this blue beacause it was in this color when I discovered the ship back in Battlestation Pacific.

I recommend the Imperial War Museum website for picture, it has a lot and in very good quality
