[PMT] BMW V12 LM98

Behold the most complete collection of BMW V12 LM98 you will ever see ! \o/
/!\ Sorry Its long a post but there is a lot to unwrap :) /!\

At first the plan of the team was only creating the car in its ALMS 99 configuration because it was a part of a big ALMS 99 mod, but some problem occurred and the project was stopped, since some car were pretty advanced, it was decided to finish every car we had in stock and focus now on car for which there is motivation to work on.

But this was only the second times since the official Le Mans game realised in 99-2000 that somebody worked on the BMW V12 LM98, so I find it was my duty to make sure, that we have all version of the car, because if we don't do it now, who will do it? And when?

It was not the easiest job ever, picture of this car are quite rare, good quality picture are super rare. There is 4 pictures of the Sebring Aero kit, 2 livery have just 1 picture of them and another one had 0 of it ! But obscure broadcast from 20 years ago in 144p did the job very well and I got every info that was needed to make sure the livery are accurate.

Note: while we have every version of the car, we do not have the unraced Dome Goh 2000 version, we are aware of it, I found some recent picture of it, but the motivation for this unraced car is not at its highest, and it requires an almost complete rebuild of the car, so we choose to not do it for now.

I edited it by removing the winglets and changing the light cover, its the LM00 kit

Like 98 its a complete new front, except for the bottom part which is the same as in the LM98 kit, its the Sebring 99 Test kit.
This kit was only used for the 12H of Sebring 1999, it feel like an intermediate design between the LM98 and 99 aero kit

Same kit, but with painted light cover, its the Sebring 99 kit.
Fun fact is that this kit is using the same front light as the BMW V12 LMR, which is not the case of the later 99 kit. The car crashed out of the race and was never seen like this again.

Same view here. Note that it was completely rebuild compared to my previous post on my profile, a new picture showed that the light had the wrong shape and the whole front was ~5cm too short, now its much more accurate and better looking

First, a small focus on the LM99 Team Goh Livery.
I spend quite some time on it to be sure the cube patern is correct

The side of the car are not symmetric, but there is only 2 picture of this side, small picture....after the engine hood, it's the part most prone to mistakes, but I think it is largely in the range of acceptable

Now a big focus on the most complex livery of this car, and probably the reason nobody worked seriously on it for 20 years.
That flag looks a bit annoying, but it's nothing next to...

THIS. The lack of good reference making as hard to do as it looks, it took me more time to do than the 3D of the Sebring kit, so please, admire it

BMW were quite proud of their front suspension, but at Le Mans this car suffered from instability at high speed and rear suspension vibration, that caused the retirement of both cars in the early stage of the race

The chassis of this livery is the number #001/98, it's the one that saw the most action thanks to Thomas Bscher

The chassis #002/98, will be raced by the Team Goh and modified by Dome in 2000 but never race. It was supposed to be an entry in the 2002 Suzuka 1000km but never showed up

For some reason, what is suspected to be chassis 001/98 was displayed in its LM98 kit and with the 002/98 livery at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 2011.

I haven't found any information outside 2 pictures of this event and I'm quite confused by it, its the only time this car was saw in its LM98 shape after the 1998 24h of Le Mans
